The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has given the Federal Government a four-week ultimatum to conclude negotiations with tertiary institution unions. NLC President Joe Ajaero stated this in Abuja, condemning the government’s no-work-no-pay policy against ASUU members.
Ajaero warned that if negotiations aren’t concluded within four weeks, the NLC will mobilize nationwide action involving all workers and unions. He emphasized that the era of agreements being ignored and unions being threatened is over, saying “no pay, no work” will be the new approach.
