On Friday, an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court, Lagos State has ordered the remand of a 16-year-old boy for allegedly defiling a 13-year-old girl.

The accused person was charged on account of defilement. He is said to be residing in Opebi axis of Ikeja, Lagos State.

Without wasting time, the Chief Magistrate, E. Kubeinje, did not take his plea, he ordered that the boy should be remanded in a Correctional Center where minors are kept at Oregun.

The magistrate adjourned the matter until December 11, 2024.
